Guided Kayak or Paddleboard Tour on Loch Tay – Perfect for Beginners and Families
Whether it’s your first time trying paddleboarding or kayaking, or you’re already confident on the water and looking for a fun half‑day adventure, this tour is ideal for you.
Loch Tay is beautiful in every season — snow on Ben Lawers in winter, colourful hillside forests in autumn, and bright green scenery in spring and summer. We set off just outside Killin and explore the calm waters of the loch, including the remains of ancient crannogs, built by Iron Age people over 2,000 years ago.
As we paddle, we’ll keep an eye out for wildlife:
Beavers (you might spot their tree-cuttings, or even a beaver itself!)
Ospreys in summer, flying above the loch looking for fish
Kingfishers, dippers, ducks, geese, and swans along the shoreline
