Loch Tummel Paddle Tour

Discover the beauty of Loch Tummel from the water on a memorable paddling journey through one of Perthshire's most stunning landscapes. Whether you're an adventurous beginner or an experienced paddler, this guided experience offers the perfect opportunity to slow down, disconnect from everyday life, and immerse yourself in nature.

Over the course of 2 to 2.5 hours, we'll explore the loch at a relaxed pace, taking time to appreciate the spectacular scenery and abundant wildlife that make this place so special. Keep an eye out for ducks, geese, and soaring ospreys during the summer months, while trout and salmon often break the surface around us. With a little luck, we may even spot signs of beavers along the shoreline or catch a glimpse of an elusive otter.

As we paddle, you'll enjoy unique views of the loch's wooded shores and elegant Victorian country houses, many of which can only truly be appreciated from the water.

All paddling equipment is provided, and no previous kayaking experience is necessary. Unless otherwise requested, we use our comfortable and stable double kayaks, which are easy to paddle and ideal for exploring Loch Tummel. Single and double kayaks, open canoes or paddleboards may also be available depending on group preferences, experience levels, and conditions on the day.

This trip is suitable for ages 7 and above. Simply bring warm, weather-appropriate clothing and footwear that you don't mind getting wet. A few days before your adventure, we'll send detailed joining information, including the meeting point selected to suit the forecast and conditions.
